Like your favorite photo to vote for the winner!
The Recreation, Parks & Community Services Department is hosting a photo contest and we want you to participate! The rules are simple and the judging will be up to you!
- Find your favorite digital photos of you and/or your family recreating with us. Photos can be of a class, camp, activity or just hanging out at any of our parks, camps, pools or facilities.
- E-mail us your photos: activityguide@srcity.org. Make sure to tell us in the caption or the e-mail where the photo was taken. (Hopfully soon you'll also be able to tag us in your pictures on Facebook in order to enter the contest -- we're working on it!)
- Have your photos emailed to us (or tagged on Facebook) by Wednesday, October 19th. Our staff will then select the best photos that are of "Activity Guide cover quality" and re-post them on Facebook in a new album.
- Here's where you come back in ... after we have uploaded the top photos we need you to decide the winner! "Like" your favorite photos and get your friends to do the same. Whichever photo has the most "likes" by 5pm (PST) on October 31st will be declared the winner!
First place will recieve their choice of a free week at Camp Yu-Chi, a week at Camp Doyle or an All-Season Family Swim Pass AND the winning photo will be used on the cover of our 2012 Spring/Summer Activity Guide!
Second place will recieve a Summer Family Swim Pass good for the 2012 summer season.
Third place will receive a K-Land Ticket Book! Good for 40 rides at Howarth Park, not including ponies.

*By submitting your photo in the contest you are agreeing to our photo submission policy and allowing us to use these photos for marketing purposes. Photos must be of acceptable quality for our Activity Guide. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Since we are unable to determine who tags a photo, credit will be given to the person who uploaded the photo.
