Instructor Spotlight!

  "Water Fitness” with Flavius Payne

Santa Rosa Aquatics introduces Flavius Payne – the newest member of our Water Fitness Instructor team! Flavius began his aquatics journey in 2007 following an accident when his doctor recommended Therapeutic Water Exercise. Flavius took to the water, saw its benefits and worked toward becoming an instructor himself. He began instructing in May of 2011 and his workouts concentrate on high intensity cardio and core strengthening. Flavius encourages people of all fitness levels to participate, and his classes are notable for their upbeat music and jovial atmosphere, because, as Flavius likes to say, “Exercise is supposed to be fun!”
Water fitness is a year-round program. Catch Flavius instructing Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9am at Finley Aquatic Center. For a full schedule of aqua fitness classes, check out the schedule.
