The Field Services Division has three major areas of responsibility:
The Division is comprised of Maintenance Workers, Electricians, Mechanics, and Managers who are charged with maintaining and repairing the City’s growing street infrastructure and fleet inventory.
A typical work day in the division begins at 6:00 AM and ends at midnight for Equipment Mechanics, though on-call employees in all three sections translate to 24-hour service, seven days a week.
The Field Services Division actively promotes the use of alternate fuel vehicles, LED lighting technology, and materials recycling.
