NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES
Welcome to the City of Santa Rosa's Neighborhood website. As part of our on-going commitment to building stronger neighborhoods, the City has provided information that may be helpful in identifying issues and organizing in your neighborhood. We have also included current links about existing neighborhood associations and their contact information.
Our plan is to develop a more comprehensive site that will provide you with more organization tools, so check back often to see what's new!
New! 8 Simple Steps to Organize a Neighborhood Block Party!
A Neighborhood Block Party is a great way to meet your neighbors, enhance community spirit and build neighborhood unity. Although putting on a Block Party together doesn't need to be difficult, it will definitely be more successful with a little careful planning, a lot of neighborhood support and the sharing of organization responsibilities.
The City of Santa Rosa would like to encourage block parties. In fact, if you are NOT planning on closing off a street and/or not planning on having amplified music, you do NOT need a special event permit. However, if you are planning on closing off a street and/or planning on having amplified music, then you will need a Special Event Permit.
